Good running form is just as important as a good swimming stroke. Acttivo believes in developing good form through cross training and integrating strength and drills into your daily routine. Run sessions focus on developing a strong finish. Most of our running takes place in a local forest which provides a challenging off-road surface and an area that allows athletes to train at their own pace. Acttivo will provide instruction on strength, endurance and building form, as well as speed for shorter races.
On days when we are coaching brick sessions, runs can be enjoyed further a field. For example, there is a challenging 10km run trail around the volcanic Lake Albano after a tough bike ride through the hills of Rome, or you can enjoy a gentle beach run after a flat coastal ride in Circeo.
Whether the aim is distance training or technique development, there are plenty of popular venues for great run sessions. In a standard week a minimum of three sessions will provide a balanced view of what steps you need to take to become a better runner.
